Religion, alcohol and politics are three things best avoided at holidays - but it's something this group of friends haven't learned. In this dark comedy, six friends have reunited for what may be their last holiday together.

Miles, a writer from Los Angeles, doesn't believe that relationships can last for him...so they don't. Stuck in a rut with his writing, riddled with loneliness and frustration, overdosing on self and acting out as a solution, Miles attempts to reignite his connection with Julia, his longtime, on-again-off-again, ex-girlfriend. However, when Julia finally warms up to the idea and things begin to move in a healthy direction, Miles battles his deepest beliefs, while struggling to stay positive and not sabotage their relationship. Oliver and Cassi, a couple from Brooklyn, spend the day apart, meandering NYC, each with their respective best friend, trying to decide whether or not they should stay together and renew their lease or call it quits after five years.
